Bold 9000: Coquette Redux

This theme is called Coquette Redux because it is losely based on my original Today Coquette Blue theme.  However aside from about half of the icons being the same these themes are actually very different.

Some of the features of Coquette Redux are:
  • Dedicated Weather slot in the top left (set as the 7th icon from your applications screen).
  • Weather icon is also viewable on the lock screen (see screenshot).
  • There are 3 hidden applications across the top: Select your battery meter to open up your Options application (see screenshot).
  • Select the time to open up your clock application (see screenshot).
  • Select your signal meter to open up your Manage Connections application (see screenshot).
  • Profiles icon in top right.
  • Today area showing your 2 new messages and 2 upcoming appointments.
  • 6 user changable icons across the bottom (set as your first row of icons from your application screen).
  • Brand new custom icon set with many improvements over my old coquette icon set.
Here are some screenshots. Click on them to see them full size:

Bold: Sublime

I put a lot of work into Sublime, I hope you like it. Please let me know in the comments section below.

A few notes on Sublime:
  • The 6 icons across the bottom of your homescreen are the first 6 icons from your main applications screen
  • The icon in the top left is the seventh from your app screen.
  • The top left is intended to be for your weather app (and because of the exact layout used it will work best with WeatherEye. If you don't use WeatherEye you can download it for free directly to your BB at the following link: http://blackberry.theweathernetwork.com/
  • Selecting your Battery icon will open your Options application (as shown in the screenshot below)
  • Selecting the time will open your Clock application (see screenshot)
  • Selecting your Signal meter will open Manage Connections (see screenshot)
  • Your top left icon (7th icon) will also be shown on your lock screen
Without further ado here are some screenshots, click on them to see them full size.

Bold: Stock Weather Plus

For Stock Weather Plus I stuck to the stock look as much as possible, but also added a few very useful enhancements:

•The icon in the top left is your 7th icon from your main applications screen and is intended to be used for your Weather app.
•If you select the Time/Date area it will open your Clock.
•There is a hidden today area that will popup and show your 5 upcoming appointments and 5 new messages.

Here are some screenshots. Click on them to see them full size:

Bold: Precision Plus

This theme is exactly the same as the default Precision theme, but it has a hidden today area that shows your 4 upcoming calendar appointments or 4 new messages when you highlight Calendar or Messages.

Bold Theme: The Ocho

I put a fair amount of effort into this one and tried out a few new ideas, please let me know what you think.

Features:
  • 8 user configurable icons
  • The top 2 icons are shown on the lockscreen
  • Today area with 1 line for new messages and 3 lines for calendar appointments
  • The time is actually a hidden icon and when selected opens your alarm/timers
  • Scroll up from the time to select the battery/signal area which is actually a hidden icon for Manage Connections

Here are some screenshots, click on them to see them full size.

Bold Theme: Two

This theme has a very simple homescreen with just 2 icons. The intention was that those be for Profiles and Weather, but they can be used for any 2 applications you would like.

As you can see in the screenshots your 2 homescreen apps will also show on your lockscreen.

Bold Theme: Weather Today 1.1

This theme is, of course, based on my original Weather Today theme. I made a few dozen changes to that theme, some of the most noticable ones are:
  • Made it so you can see your weather icon on the lock screen
  • Changed about 1/5th of the application icons
  • Changed the dialog boxes and menu backgrounds
  • Changed most of the font sizing and formatting
The icon in the top right will be whatever application you have as the first item on your main application list. I intended that you use it for your weather app, but of course you can use it for whatever application you want.
As I did in many of my other themes I used my own custom Battery and Signal meters. They are the blue bars accros the very top of the screen. The left half is Battery, right half is Signal. Each little section is 10%.

Bold Theme: Today Coquette Blue

For this theme I was going for something simple and easy on the eyes, but still visually appealing at the same time.

Personally I like what I ended up with (it is the theme I am using myself right now), but please let me know what you think.

The dotted lines across the top are the battery and signal meters (battery left, signal right).

Bold Theme: Today Three

I have noticed a bunch of people looking for today themes for the Bold that have three items (Calendar, Email and SMS) instead of just the usual 2 (Calendar & Messages), so I decided to make one.

It is nothing too fancy, just something I threw together, but here you go: Note: for this theme to display properly you will need to have your Bold set to have Email and SMS in seperate folders. To do that select: Messages>Menu>Options>General Options>SMS and Email Inboxes: Seperate.

Bold Theme: Vanilla TP

For this theme I tried to keep it is close as possible to the stock look of the classic Today theme, but with a twist: At first glance it is just a basic today theme, but with the banner at the bottom rather than the top, however when you scroll down past the profiles icon a tray with 5 icons pops up.

This way you get a clean homescreen with the most possible space dedicated to your banner and today items, but still get immediate access to 5 apps of your choice.

Bold Theme: DD

For this theme I tried to keep the homescreen as bare as possible (so you can view your wallpapers best), but I also included a hidden Today popup that appears when you highlight Messages or Calendar.

The 2 smaller icons on the left and the 2 on the right are not changeable. The 4 larger ones in the middle are changable.

The blue bars down the sides of the homescreen are the battery and signal meters. Battery is left, Signal is right. Each section on the meter bars is 10%.

Click on any of the screenshots below to see them full size.

Bold Theme: DT

This theme is based off of my DL theme, but I made so many changes that about the only thing that ended up being the same is (most of) the icons.

I am quite happy with the way everything turned out, this will definitely be the theme that will be on my own Bold for the next little while.

As I did on a few of my other themes I used my own custom battery and signal meters.

They are the blue bars across the very top, the left half is battery, right is signal (each little block is 10%).

Here is a bunch of screenshots: *Click on any of the screenshots to see it full size.

Bold Theme: DL

For this theme I used my custom Battery and Signal meters from my Pro 1.3 theme. They are the blue bars across the top (Battery is left, Signal is right).

The 4 smaller icons on the left are not user changable, but the 6 larger icons on the bottom are.

As you can see in the screenshots, when you scroll over Calendar or Messages your upcoming appointments or messages will appear.
